Zintan | Misrata University achieved remarkable distinction at the ceremony honoring top students across Libyan universities for the 2025-2026 academic year, with its students securing three top positions in the fields of medical, applied, and humanities sciences, under the supervision of the university`s Student Activities Department.
Student Aya Adel Harib achieved first place in medical sciences, student Mawada Abdel Salam Abu Bakr achieved second place in applied sciences, and student Aisha Fawzi Omran achieved third place in humanities.
The celebration was held at Zintan University, under the supervision of the University Activities Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Forty-two students representing 16 Libyan universities participated, along with a number of officials, university representatives, faculty members, students, and their parents.
This initiative aims to instill a culture of academic excellence, motivate students to continue striving for excellence and innovation, and foster a spirit of positive competition among higher education institutions.
This achievement reflects the distinction of Misrata University students and the commitment of the university`s University Activities Department to supporting outstanding students and encouraging them to achieve further success in academic forums.
