Misurata | May 15, 2025 Today, Thursday, the Faculty of Health Sciences, Misurata University, held activities to commemorate World DNA Day. The event was attended by genetics departments with common interests across the university`s faculties, including Human Medicine, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, Veterinary Medicine, and the Faculty of Science.
The event marked the inauguration of the college`s medical genetics laboratories, attended by the President of Misrata University, the Vice Deans for Academic Affairs, the Secretary-General, and several department directors, along with a host of college deans and university officials, a member of the Misrata Municipal Council, and representatives of various sectors and institutions in Misrata.
The event aims to raise awareness of the importance of medical genetics specializations and to highlight the potential and resources available to launch joint research teams across relevant departments, contributing to supporting scientific research and integration among related disciplines.
